One of my New Years resolutions was to see my old friends more often so last night I went out for a drink with a friend called Jeremy. I have known him since the age of 3 and we went to primary/junior school together. It has been over a year since I last met up with him and had a meal with him and his girlfriend so it we had a lot to chat about and reminisce. I have found out that he is now engaged and I will be making a second attempt of being an usher at his wedding. This also means I will be bumping into a few of my old mates from school when we fly to Spain for his stag party.
We went to a few pubs before heading back to his new house where we sat and chatted until 1am this morning. No wonder why I am so tired this morning.
Anyway at 7.30 this morning I was awoken to my dad asking me if we are going to collect this car or not. Turns out that when I told the garage id pick it up at 11 I never ran it past when I could get a lift in and my father had other plans.
So we got to the garage at 9.45 and I went through all the work we had asked doing. Everything was spot on even down to the engine being cleaned.
I found out this morning that I needed to last the rest of the week until payday and I was £200 short so the credit card came out :(
