Welcome to my Life

Sooo a late one but the weekend! As Wednesday was Matt’s (Best Friend) Sisters (Kate, who cuts my hair) little boy’s (Owen) 3yr old birthday the weekend Matt’s parents arranged for a party. For the past 3 years we have always gone to his parties which are designed for both the kids and the adults who turn up. For the past two years we have had great weather but sods law this year it chose to rain….must be getting close to Glastonbury.

Anyhow, despite all the rain, it stopped around 2.30 which was just in time as the guy delivering the bouncy castle had just turned up. Me and Mark turned up to lend a hand with everything while drinking of course. Matt’s dad brought out some local home made cider which was around 6% and tasted very smooth with no bite.
Before all the kids turned up we decided to give the Bouncy Castle a test (you know, to make sure it was safe)
When Sam dropped off Matt’s niece (brother’s daughter) she did not want to play with the other kids so I kept her company watching CBeebies for a while and then helped her eat her ice cream, then for some reason I took over on the BBQ which seems to happen every year. I don’t know why but I always end up cooking!!!

After all the kids had gone we were back on the Bouncy Castle with Owen and then Kate’s friends also joined in. When everyone had gone home we tried to play Dirt on the Xbox while drinking Whiskey.

Sunday I woke up fine without a hangover at all, took my sister and he friend to the airport then went to the gym to start weight lifting again.
