Sooo while playing football on Monday I accidentally got elbowed in the ribs as I ran in for the ball then 10 minutes later someone ran into me hitting me in the same spot. That night I was short of breath and in a lot of pain but decided against going to the hospital as I don't like wasting people's time. Next day after waking up in pain I went to work but decided to get an appointment at my local GP but unfortunately only could get the Dr. that no one else goes to as it was in short notice.
He said that something had inflamed under my muscle and was pushing on my ribs. While driving back to work I found it hard to drive and use my left arm.
After waking up a second day in pain yesterday I decided to get a second opinion so I went to the hospital A&E and had to wait 2 hours before a Dr. told me that they would not Xray me because if it was a fracture or bruise they couldn't do anything about it anyone. Due to my symptoms he stated that it was badly bruised or a slight fracture and said I need to rest for 3 – 7 weeks which involves not lifting or playing football for a minimum of 3 weeks. He gave me codeine which means I can not drink any alcohol while taking them.
Today I have decided against going to work as I am in discomfort and any bending, heavy breathing, laughing and coughing hurts not to mention that every time I sneeze I feel like my lung is about to explode.
