I don’t mind Bluetooth headsets, I have one in fact! They are safer to use while driving and while you are working on a PC or working around the house. But I can not see why people walk around shops with them hanging out of their ears! I only really use mine when driving long distances but I would never dream of going shopping or to a football match with one in my ear. Especially if my job was a burger flipper! You’re not important mate; no one is going to call you with any significance.
Following my other blog about old drivers, I was coming back from lunch yesterday and while going around the roundabout and coming to a set of green traffic lights we all started slowing down as a Honda Civic was slowing down. First off I thought that they thought that it was a give way or it was Red (hard to tell I know) but to my shock and up most horror the car took a wide turn and went up the wrong way of the slip road to the motorway into oncoming traffic. We all beeped at this little old lady and what did she do but turn and face us and wave!! WAVE for fuck sake! Only when a car in front of her came to an abrupt stop she realised and swung a U turn. It scares me shitless to see drivers like this on the roads.
Anyway must say something about this wonderful weather we are having, it gave me chance to lye in the garden all day Sunday. Also I would like to put forward to all my Bristol City fans on here that I am dead nervous about the last 3 games. 6 points for a guaranteed promotion into the championship with Carlisle and Millwall to play away. Come on you Red!!

That happened to me once. I was driving back to Bath on New Year's Day a few years ago and stopped at the lights on the A46 junction. To my amazement a little old lady in a red fiat came trundling around the roundabout from the right and cut across all the traffic stopped at the lights! She clearly mistook our waving for New Year's greetings and carried on down the slip-road onto the wrong side of the bypass. Thankfully it was deathly quiet on the roads and our last sight was of her little red car pootling the wrong way down the hard shoulder. What can you do?
