With spending the last week on the road a lot it has come apparent to me that Sunday drivers are the worst. While driving on a weekday everyone is driving 80mph tops and moving into the first/second lane if there is no one there. Why is it on a Sunday that you get some granny stuck in the third lane doing 70mph not overtaking anything and not moving over which forces you to dangerously undertake? Also among these drivers I also noticed that the average speed is 80mph and the fastest is 100+ why only on a Sunday?
I had a great week off work, got to watch Hot Fuzz which is a very funny film, spent most of Friday in the beer garden of the local and also playing football drunk across the road on the green. And Sunday/Monday I was invited to a BBQ by Lou near Oxford where I met some very nice people and had a great time.
Today I had to go to the dentist and to my surprise he found nothing to moan at me about and I was in and out within 3 minutes and to celebrate I bought a pack of Bon Bons. As I sat down in that comfortable tilting chair tears for fears came onto the radio and my dentist stopped what he was doing and turned to the radio, I thought to myself “finally this guy has got some taste and was about to turn the volume up” to my disappointment he was only putting his annoying classical music on!
This week will be quiet as Matt is off so that means I will be here on my own and have already started by playing dance music at a higher then normal volume. I will go to the gym tonight before watching Man Utd on the TV.
I need to sort out going to Reading in June to have a drinking session with some of the other guys for work and also I plan to visit London in the coming Month.
