All this talk of "will he won't he play" about Rooney is getting on my nerves. To be fair he's a great player and I would like nothing more then him in the world cup but the media need to drop the story and let the rest of the team focus on playing without him. Beckham seems fit and is looking great for the world cup, Joe Cole and Gerrard both looking on top form but a more surprising Peter Crouch who wants to fill the boots of our up front striker is looking better and better with each viewing. I for one will be backing all the boys 110% and come next week I will be sat in my local watching the opening game of Germany vs Costa Rica.
As for my running, today a new PB was set by me in training for the Bristol Half. I managed to run the distance of 4 1/2 miles in 36 minutes. On top of that it was a sunny hot day and I was being watched each lap by a few women which did make me run a little faster ever time I passed them.
I feel fine now, the third lap was a battle in my mind of "should I or shouldn’t I" carry on running, and I will not lie, it was hard.
After running my friend Matt asked if I would like to join him over the Bristol University for a quick pint and as it was a very hot day a yes was on the cards. So here I am typing after coming back from a 4 1/2 mile run and a swift pint of Blackthorn from a totty filled Uni.
Up the local tonight but not too late as I am taking my parents to the train station tomorrow morning and then off to watch England play.
I have now secured my charity I wish to represent during my run. I have chosen Cancer Research UK as both friends and family have suffered this terrible illness.
My pack should arrive within 10 days and will hopefully let me take sponsors online if you wish to sponsor me.
