Ninety Nine Nights at last, Football and Work

Posted by Martyn

So I found a copy of Ninety Nine Nights in Bristol for £13. I wanted this game since release but never wanted to pay £44 for it. The copy I have is pre-owned and has some scratches on the disk which to my annoyance last night when it would not load Level 3. After some major disk cleanage I managed to get it to load. I hope I don’t have to take it back because I am sure I can not find it that cheap anywhere else.
I really like the game, when the demo was out I could not stop playing the same level over and over. To some people it will be repetitive but for me it’s once of those games that you can pick up and play, not spend loads of hours in one sitting and it also has great characters and good storyline.

As for the other thing in my life Bristol City managed another win last night in what we love to call the Mickey Mouse Cup the Johnstones Paint Trophy. After last nights walk over against Brighton 2-0 it looks as if we could face Bristol Rovers in the area final if they manage to beat or even play their game against Shrewsbury. I do feel sorry for all the fans that travelled up there to find the game has been postponed for the second time. The Football League wanted them to play tonight which would of be crazy to ask the club and supporters but it looks as if they will be playing on Monday which again will cause problems after playing Derby on the weekend. Also this postpones City’s next game and could cause us problems.

Work seems very busy of late; I had some bad news today as it looks like we might be losing most of our work to CDS. This means that if there is not enough work for us they will have to move us which I do not fancy one bit. Looks like I will have to wait until the end of February to find out what is actually happening. I guess in the meantime I could just look for a new job starting today. But like I have said in the past I have no idea what I would move into after spending nearly 10 years in this company.
The strange thing is I find this information about our sites from colleges and friends and not through the management.

In other news I have had my loan through so I just need to sign the forms and send it back and I should have a car by the end of Feb.
